So with the NBA starting its season on December 22nd and running until May 16th, which is 20/21 weeks, which means we need to tweak our regular season and playoffs.
Originally we have 18 weeks and 6 weeks for playoffs, so if we want to keep the 6 weeks of playoffs we will have to make the season 14-15 weeks, if the season is indeed how many weeks I think it is. This all hinges on what ESPN does as well. So a couple initial plans that I can think of
1. 16 weeks for the regular season and 3 weeks for the playoffs, meaning the matchups would be 1 week each 2. 13 weeks for the regular season and 6 weeks for the playoffs, which leaves us with our normal 2 week playoff matchups
Based on the start date and end date I think the first week will be a short week and the 21st? week will also be short, so if we can avoid it, I'd rather not use the 21st week in the final of the league, but with it being 6 days, I wouldn't be opposed since the final would be 13 days long if we do the 2 week per playoff matchup thing

Both ways I count 19 weeks though not 21?

Yeah, I'm not totally sure how they will do it on ESPN, based on the dates it could be 20 weeks or 21 weeks, possibly even 22, I'm not totally sure to be honest, which is why I left a little wiggle room in the suggested set ups, just in case they do only have 20 playable weeks on ESPN

So ESPN is back up and based on their weeks, there are 21 playable weeks, and the 21st week is a full 7 days, so I am good using it, so my 2 initial suggestions would be
18 regular season weeks (Normal amount) 3 playoff weeks 15 regular season weeks 6 playoff weeks (normal amount)
I think personally I would lean the 2nd option to keep the 2 weeks per matchup in the playoffs

Alright it seems the consensus is 15 week regular season and 6 weeks for the 3 rounds of playoffs.
So with that sorted, we have 2 sets of division matchups which leaves 9 weeks in the middle of the season.
So I will set the schedule up for teams to play 3 teams from the other 3 divisions in those 9 weeks. All the division winners will play each other, 2nd place finishers will play 2nd place finishers and so on, then the other 2 weeks will be 2 of the other 3 teams in the other divisions

So, I was inputting the schedule into ESPN tonight and noticed that matchup 11 is now a 2 week period, because the NBA is taking a break from March 5th to March 10th. That means our schedule will be 14 regular season weeks and 6 playoff weeks to get 3 rounds in.

A little side update, the list of G-League players has been updated and will be updated further as there are guys that will need to be activated by the deadline (End of week 1)
