The options are too long to put in the little lines when I made the poll, so I just did option 1, 2, 3 and they go with the same # down here.
I think if we vote for option 2, we could do a quick discussion or poll on the games played/minutes # we would use.
1. G-League eligibility: Any Non-NBA league pro players such as, Euro, G-League, NBL, etc. but not including college players. Rookies drafted outside the top 10 in either the NBA draft or the DBBL draft. No games played limit, guys entering their 2nd NBA season, no matter games played, would need to be on active roster. Only exception would be if they start the season in the G-League
2. Same rule as 1 but would have a 35 games played(could tweak this, could even do minutes total or minutes averaged)
3. Same rule as 1 but only Euro, NBL, etc (Not G-League/NCAA) that are 2 years out from entering the NBA draft would be eligible to be taken in the DBBL rookie draft. Any further away would not be eligible.
4. Other

I voted for 3, but I also think a non force of player for their 2nd season is needed. Some guys take longer to develop so some sort of minutes restriction/games played makes sense. Im not sure who owns him but I know someone has Tyrell Terry for example. By rule in #1, he will have to be on the active roster this year but he only played in 11 games and averaged 5.1 minutes in those games. To me, he is a guy who for sure be able to stay on the G-League.

If we don't set a limit its basically making 2nd round picks useless. I think for GLeague rules moving forward we need to define the following - GS Limit when players lose GLeague exception - Top 10 in NBA/DBBL should not be eligible for GLeague assignment - Limit how far ahead you can draft rookie players So for me if the we have defined the above Tyrell Terry would still be eligible and now Kuminga would not be eligible for the season.

JR and Keith are the only 2 to not vote. It is tied 7-7 so I need them both to vote on this. (DMHO and New Meow)

With a vote of 10-6 we will use Option 1. The rookie draft part of this will not go into effect until next off-season, but the G-League portion will take effect this off-season.
